What is AGT NAVI?

AGT NAVI is a web tool accessible for any user. It provides a 3D browsing experience of the AGT Galactic Archives at a region to system level.

Requirements?

• All major internet browsers.

• Larger displays work better.

• Tablets and phones provide acceptable results. 

• A reliable internet connection advised due to large datasets.

• Web based - it will not install anything on your device.

Disclaimer

The 3D mapping of regions is a long and detailed task.  It involve AGT travellers recording the distances between pairs of stars, a minimum of 4 distance measurements for every star!

For this reason, only a very small part of the universe has been mapped in 3D. We recommend looking mainly at the AGT Key Regions.  

You can help contribute to improve this mapping, we are always looking for volunteers to help, contact us or look on the Job Portal for roles in the Department of Stellar Cartography.
