The AGT Bureau of Galactic Geographic Research is responsible collecting and maintaining awareness of spectacular geographical landmarks and locations within regions occupied by the AGT and its foundations.
The bureau has the following responsibilities:
Administer and review the submission process for the Natural Wonders Program.
Administer the Natural Wonder forms and submissions system.
Bureau leader must review each submission by visiting the location, and if judging the submission of note, to bring it to the attention of the SLT.
Define the process the SLT will use to judge if a site merits inclusion as an AGT Galactic Geographic Wonder.
Prepare and create wiki pages on the NMS wiki site of identified AGT Galactic wonders to highlight them
Document sites of particular geographical interest anywhere in the universe, ideally in AGT named systems.
Administer and manage creation of a Dept of Mineralogical Research. Define all functional parameters of the group, creation of a database format, submission systems, etc.
Upload media (Video, images) to social media group AGT channels/groups on Facebook, Discord, Reddit, Twitter to promote recognized sites.
Particular focus on primary AGT regions:
AGT Yihelli Capital Super Region in Euclid.
Louyen in the Hilbert Dimension.
Historical AGT regions of Milland, Deuter, and the Kaleibn Cluster in Euclid.
Foundation capital regions.
Secondary responsibility: Ensure travellers record star system names with AGT prefix.
The Bureau is overseen and supported by the AGT Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
The bureau leadership position is open at present.
You must be an officially registered traveller on the census of the AGT for at least two months for the bureau leader position. Apply on the Job Portal.
Any AGT Traveller can nominate a Natural Wonder for consideration at any time.
