The AGT announces that the new Galactic Archives Dashboard has been launched. This provides a new graphical way of understanding the AGT Galactic Archives. A set of graphical metrics have been prepared, and more will be added in the future based on our Travelllers suggestions.
Note the first time you launch the Dashboard on your device, it may take anywhere from 3 to 30 minutes to build a database cache from the Galactic Archives on your device ( it depends on your device performance, its current memory and storage space, and your internet connection quality). Future visits on the same device will not have this initial delay.
Note in the settings menu, there are options to refresh individual database caches so you can selectively decide what and when you want to update in future. The cache date stamps will show in different colors depending on the cache age:
Green < 3 days old
Yellow 3-14 days old
Orange 14-59 days old
Red >60 days old.
We will add some improved display features to help you understand the progress of database synchronization in the coming days as we realize the initial wait does not currently provide the user enough feedback the process is progressing.
Note we have not tested this on all devices, in particular mobile phones, and especially Safari on Apple iphones may experience trouble in accommodating the dashboard according to our preliminary research. Desktop and laptop browser, and android tablets should perform fine.
Please report any issues observed to our support desk at help@nms-agt.on.spiceworks.com
