Today we are releasing the first update of AGT NAVI in 4 years.
The URL for this new BETA version is different. We recommend only accessing the AGT NAVI tool using the AGT NAVI button on the AGT website (see AGT NAVI on the website side menu) as the NAVI URL may change frequently in the future as we continue work on it.
Version 0.9.1 introduces the following:
Purple class stars now show as purple in the galaxy map
Dissonant and Giant fields now show in the System details panel
Wiki link now shows at the bottom of the System details panel if it exists
A new progress indicator displays when the user starts the data sync on app loading. (Note: the progress bar will appear to freeze at approximately 98%, this may last for 30-60 seconds, please wait as the app is processing huge amounts of data).
Color and styling of the app now more closely match the AGT brand colors on other webapps
In the Galaxy map view, clusters of regions are colored based on their priority to the AGT. Orange clusters are the highest, yellow are medium, green are low. White are non-priority.
When region names are listed in any panel or input box, they are colored with the region priority color of Orange/Yellow/Green per the region cluster.
The bloom/aura effect of the stars and cluster has been significantly reduced to create a clearer visual image.
Fixes a bug related to system records now having a Phantom/Normal/Shadow/Reverse Shadow field. These records were being ignored if this field had any value except NULL.
These bugs are known but unresolved at present:
Hilbert Dimension galaxy map is not rendering. You can still search for a region and then zoom to it however.
Initial zoom levels when a region is displayed are further out than prior versions. You may need to manually zoom in first for display.
Mobile use of the app may be less user friendly. Desktop or tablet is recommended.
Icons for Dissonant and Giant planet in the systems details panel cannot be displayed.
A small number of systems are still being ommitted from being processed in NAVI. Investigation is ongoing for those cases (It is noted 24 systems are still not processing from Jasener Quadrant).
