With the renewed interest in creatures after the Xeno Arena update, and being effectively closed for over a year, AGT announces the Creature/Fauna Database is reopened for submissions.
The AGT points out that the old Genus system is obsolete, and is now replaced by a new Species Classification system which is more inline with the No Mans Sky game code. Full details of how classification and subclassification is done in NMS can be found at:
https://nms.miraheze.org/wiki/Classification
The AGT notes that a new WebForm for Fauna/Creatures now also exists, so submissions should be made there (see button below).
The fauna webform button can be found on the Contribute section of the AGT web site. The fauna webform has a LOT of questions, but you can skip almost all of them. Submitters will need to have a discovery menu image, visor scan image, and a creature screenshot to upload. You also MUST know how to specify the classification (genus). It also fully supports the new Xeno Arena combat fields.
In the coming weeks there will be a new AGT Creature Report app, which may also include the photos from the Webform submissions. If this does not happen, then rest assured your photos will be included in the new Next Generation AGT Web DB that is under development and is expected to launch in 1H2027.
